Players That Impressed, Highlights, & Photos!

On July 27th and 28th, the Apex 60 Summer Finale Showcase was held at The Hun School of Princeton. The weekend featured over 45 Top D1 Coaches and 260 players from across the country,  37+ states represented, and several players from Canada. Read below for players that stood out, a Lax.com highlight video & photos!

This was the best run event I have been to - player talent level was extremely high and everything was extremely well organized!

- D1 College Coach

The instruction was off the charts and the feedback was incredibly helpful.  I learned a ton and enjoyed the event very much.

- 2021 Attackman

Players That Stood Out

Nick Kaufman - 2021, LSM (Annapolis Hawks, St. Marys)
The defensive MVP of the All-Star game, this rangy pole from St. Marys covered a lot of ground and shut down every midfielder he guarded. He also had stick skills that made him dangerous in the middle of the field and on the offensive side of the ball, scoring several goals throughout the weekend.

Will Inderlied - 2021, M (Amped, Norfolk Academy)
A rangy midfielder who can shoot with both hands equally well - Will was impressive in his speed and ability to get his hands free off the dodge. He was creating offense at will.

Sawyer Anderson - 2021, G (Team Minnesota,  Edina HS)
Another all-star game goalie, Anderson was making save after save and took up space very well in the goal. The keeper from Minnesota was exceptional at making saves tight in and stuffing attackmen.

Matt Montgomery - 2020, D (Fusion, West Chester Rustin)
A solid and big defenseman from PA, Matt was making his presence known every game with his physical play. Not only was his physical play noticeable but he was just as fast and quick when it came to getting up the field in transition and the clearing game.

Cameron Coyle - 2021, G (Blue Star, Robbinsville)
This goalie earned MVP honors for the very competitive 2021 grade and stood on his head every game. A clear communicator and very balanced goalie, Cameron was a stud all weekend.

Jacob Pachecho - 2023, FO (Denver Elite)
The only 2023 selected for the All-Star game, Jacob was routinely winning faceoffs against players 2, 3 years older than him. Coaches Barbarich (Maryland) and Scudder (Lehigh) were thoroughly impressed with the rising 9th grader!

Torane Burton - 2020 M (Nantucket)
Jamaican by birth, but having grown up on Nantucket, this was the first time Torane had been exposed to high level lacrosse play and he thrived. An extremely athletic midfielder, he was on another level all weekend. The raw ability he posseses will make him a highly sought after midfielder in the 2020 class.
