Isaac Korus Leading #2 Ranked Taft At Midfield

A national powerhouse with a stable of offensive weapons, Taft this spring had a star-studded roster on offense.  Apex 60 All-Star Midfielder Isaac Korus, 2022, M, UPenn was a force for the Rhinos this year and remains one of the best players to come through Apex 60.  Korus lead Taft during a season in which they were ranked #1 team in the nation, and capped off their season by winning The Geico National High School Showcase.  A big, strong midfielder, he has the ability to take over a game and impose his will on opponents.

Wojnovich, Zadell, Evans Lead Cardinal Gibbons to NC State Championship

Two players that were featured in the Apex Showcases this past fall helped lead Cardinal Gibbons to a North Carolina State Championship this past spring. Bryce Wojnovich, 2021, M, Jacksonville was crowned the MVP of the State Playoffs. Bryce is an incredible athletic midfielder who can play both sides of the ball with an impace. At the X and leading the team in points was Caden Zadell, A, 2022, Uncommitted. Coach Galloway's offense ran through his stick most of the season. Caden has incredible vision and lacrosse IQ, a must for any elite X attackman. On the opposite side of the ball Ian Evens, D, 2022 was a force to be reckoned with as well, helping shut down the opposing offenses top threats with some very physical play.

Freshman Goalie Timmy Piacentini a Wall for #20 Lawrenceville

Apex Goalie 350 All-Star Timmy Piacentini, G, 2024, was a major reason for the return of the Lawrenceville Lacrosse program this year. A goalie who had not started a varsity game until this spring, he stepped up big time and had 16 saves in a huge win against #3 ranked Brunswick. A lefty keeper with quick hands in close, he had a knack for big time saves this season. As a 2024, Timmy should be on every coaches radar.

On the same roster as his teammate Schlank, Tommy Quinson, A, 2021, Denison  has been filling up the goal this spring the one of the nation's top programs. The player has a knack for getting open and finishing, especially with the talented feeders around him. Wathc below for a pair of back to back goals he had in their dominant win over then ranked #2 Taft.

Gorman, Carfello Leading Resurgent Don Bosco

One of the biggest storylines in NJ this spring has been the resurgence of Don Bosco Prep. Their offense is led on attack by a pair of Apex 60 MVPs and All-Stars. Connor Gorman, A, 2022, Marquette has been a terror for opposing defenses with his size, aggressiveness and slick stick skills. Playing on the same line is righty shooter Mason Carfello, A, 2022, who can fill the back of the net up just as well as anybody! Both players have been to multiple Apex events and dominated. Don Bosco is gunning for a deep run in the NJ State Playoffs this year!

This spring at Brophy Prep,  he led Arizona in points and was named the states most valuable offensive player. Cole is an exciting player to watch in person and can't wait to see what he does in his senior year!

Quinn McBride and Georgetown Prep Beat Bullis for TItle

Despite having a turbulent season in an extremely competitive league Georgetown Prep put all the pieces together in the playoffs to take home the IAC championship. Apex 60 All-Star Quinn McBride, M, 2022, Navy led their defensive midfield unit throughout the season. McBride is as athletic as they come, and was a staple for the Hoyas in between the lines and on defense. A true workhouse who could also score! In the the finals against nationally-ranked Bullis he was able to help shut down some of the nation's top midfielders and hoist the IAC Trophy!

It was obvious Van Metre gained confidence and energy throughout each event and started peaking headed into his spring season. Van Metre has used this confidence to help lead Loyola Academy to a #1 ranking in Illinois (via Laxnumbers.com). Gavin Dallas Helping Eastlake to #1 In Washington State

Apex 60 All-Star Gavin Dallas, A, 2023 was a handful for almost every defender he was matched up against at the Apex West Coast showcase in January. Whether it was downhill dodging or spot up shooting Dallas was almost automatic from anywhere on the field. continuing his success throughout the season Dallas helped lead his Eastlake high school team to a #1 ranking in the state of Washington. Dallas looked dominant throughout the season and looks to continue that success moving into the summer season and make some waves in the process.
