On Saturday, October 9th, Apex Lacrosse Events hosted the Apex Girls Fall Showcase, at Capelli Sports Complex. in Tinton Falls, NJ. Athletes from across the country, joined over 20 college coaches and our four directors Kylie O’miller (Team USA & Stony Brook), Lauren Murray (Northwestern), Taylor Caldwell (Loyola), and Moly Wolf (AU Pro Player & Loyola). With an incredible coaching staff there was an abundance of new skills and valuable knowledge taught throughout the day. 

All age groups between 2022-2025 took the field splitting into different stations by position group. After a morning of shooting, footwork, and competitions players were split into five different teams to play a small round robin set of games. The teams were coached by college coaches who also gave insight on the recruiting process during down time. After a great set of games the coaches and directors picked their All Star players who they thought stood out to them during the day.

While all the players made impressions on our directors and coaches, we wanted to highlight our Most Valuable Player and our Most Valuable Goalies. All coaches can agree that Avery Testa a 2024 Attacker from Long Island, NY, dominated on the field from the start and never let up the rest of the day.  Molly and Taylor awarded Emma Baker (2025, Coppermine ) and Meghan Minogue (2023, X-Treme Lax Factory) as the Most Valuable Goalies for the stand out saves all day.  

We want to thank everyone for joining us for what turned out to be an incredible weekend! We are so happy to be back and witnessing some top-notch lacrosse. As a reminder, we are now accepting applications for the 2022 Apex Summer 60 Showcase taking place at Cedar Lane Regional Park on July 13 & 14.
