On Saturday, October 16th, Apex Lacrosse Events hosted our final Girls Showcase of the Fall, The Apex Futures Showcase. This Showcase is geared towards the rising freshman class only and is the first event for the 2026’s, with athletes from all over the country including Colorado, Minnesota, and Washington State. Directors, Lauren Lea (Florida University) , Lauren Murray (Northwestern University), and Taylor Caldwell (Loyola University) were joined by an incredible College Coach Staff ranking from DI-DIII where they were instructed and coached in skills, drills and game play.
Apex Lacrosse partnered with Healthy Baller for the very first Super Score combine that tested each player in the 40 yard dash, 10 yard dash, 5-10-5 sprint, vertical jump and broad jump. Each player received a Super Score Stat card with their jersey number and stats to be able to share with college coaches. Our goal is to retest the Futures at our National recruiting event, the Apex 60 Summer Showcase to keep track of their progress over the next few years of their recruiting process. Below are the players who had the best Super Scores in each test.
Healthy Baller Best Super Scores
Alision Hankins - 40 Yard Dash
Maya Edwards - Vertical Jump
Maya Edwards - 10 Yard Dash
Ellie Miller - 5-10-5
Sonia Reyes - Broad Jump

As Director Danielle Kirk said “WELCOME TO THE BIG LEAGUE LADIES” and these 2026’s did not disappoint. As the day progressed, Directors and College Coaches both realized quickly that we had a special group on our hands and the All Star selection was going to be difficult. It was mentioned several times that the talent was some of the best they have seen all year long.
