2024/2025 Top 5 Goalies

Champion - Carter Johnson, 2024, Goalie, Blue Star, Jackson Hole Community School

The Champion of the 2024/2025 bracket Johnson looked cool, calm, and collected all day versus some of the toughest shooters the PLL has to offer. Johnson is as smooth as they come in the goal looking confident staring down shooters. His top hand step is quick able to snag shots seemingly out of thin air. He has patient feet with a strong step to the ball when shots come in. In tight he did a great job of remaining in position not biting on shooters stick fakes. Johnson is young and looks to already have the leadership qualities of a successful Goalie at the next level.

Runner Up - Aden Anderson, 2025, Goalie, Seattle Starz, Eastside Catholic High School

The strongest of the 2025's  Anderson was tough as nails in the championship match up against Johnson. Despite being the youngest to make it through the playoff bracket Anderson was taking on PLL shooters like he was a senior. He showed some serious explosiveness in the net able to make some incredible saves on step downs that had some heat. Anderson displayed some top level hand speed by making saves across his body that looked all but lost. Athletic as they come Anderson is quick on his feet and showed and explosive step to the ball on incoming shots. Anderson has an extremely high ceiling and looks primed to have a great career.

3rd - JJ Wright, 2024, Goalie, CLE Knights, Hudson HS

A protege of PLL Whipsnake Kyle Bernlohr, Wright came to play last week at Goalie 350. He was dialed in from the start of the event showing high levels of focus during the gauntlet phase of Day 1. Rolling his success into the championship round on Day 2 Wright made a strong run of some athletic saves against some tough pro shooters. He is as patient as they come able to hold his ground not taking any false steps as the ball came his way. Wright demonstrated some great top hand speed.

4th - Nick Roesch, 2024, Goalie, SouthShore, Southern Regional

Roesch has all the tools that it takes to be a successful goalie, and it showed throughout Goalie 350 showcase this summer. He plays low in a strong base. Loaded up and ready to make explosive movements towards the ball Roesch punishes shooters for attempting to pick corners as he seemingly snags the ball out of the air.  Some of the quickest hands in the lower age bracket Roesch makes clean punches to the ball without falling for fakes demonstrating extreme patience in net. Throw in some top tier outlet pass ability and Roesch looks ready to develop into an elite level ball stopper.

5th - James Mullonwney, 2024, Goalie, Laxachusettes AA, Belmont Hill

Mullonwney  has great size and ability in net and put himself on the map this summer at the Goalie 350. He does a great job of getting low into a stance, but maintains a wide base when preparing for shots allowing him to take up a lot of space in the net.  Mullonwney does a great job of tracking shooters sticks, whether from range or in tight he is able to read shots well and displayed great tracking. He has great hand speed and a strong top hand punch that allowed him to make a deep run in the playoff versus top pro level shooters.  Mullonwney looks ready to take the next step as a goalie and a leader on the defensive end.

2022/2023 Top Five Goalies

Champion - Brayden Williams, 2023, Goalie, Thunder Blue, Mill Creek HS

Traveling all the way from Georgia, Williams was a brick wall the entire showcase against some tough Pro players and dominated on his way to taking the championship in the 2022/2023 bracket. Williams is an athletic keeper, able to make split saves and reset in mere seconds. He is light on his feet able to make explosive steps to the ball and look graceful in doing so. Williams plays a textbook stance with a wide base able to eat up a lot of net from shooters. He presented his stick well and had some of the quickest hands seen at the event. A commanding presence in net Williams looks to be a strong keeper ready to lead a defense for any successful program.

Runner Up - Ryan Beller, 2023, Goalie, Jersey Thunder, Morris Knolls HS

Beller was a spark plug in net at the Goalie 350 summer showcase, and made his presence known in net throughout the event. He is extremely athletic able to move pipe to pipe lightening fast, and make some incredible saves in the process. Beller never gave up on a shot able to recover and find his footing well after being faked by shooters. He explodes to the ball with passion, often times selling out to make saves making for some star studded highlights on some tough shooters. Quick hands and feet allow for him to shut shooters down in tight, and great patience allows him to read shooters well from range. Beller is pure energy in net and will be a boost for any program looking to bolster on the defensive end.

3rd - Scott Kosakowski, 2023, Goalie, Eclipse, Staples HS

The third place finisher in the older age bracket Kosakowski looked smooth in all aspects of his game at the Goalie 350 showcase. He is calm and confident in net seemingly always keel as he is waiting for shooters to come down his lane. He has a smooth step to the ball that looks textbook and easy. Kosakowski made saves look effortless at times moving from pipe to pipe. He isn't overly aggressive punching towards the ball, but he has quick hands that allow him to shut down shooters from just about anywhere. Great vision and outlets allow Kosakowski to get the ball out quick to breaking midfielders. Kosakowski looks ready to step up and be a leader on the defensive end, and do so successfully.

4th - Jimmy Potter, 2023, Goalie, Blue Star, Shawnee HS

Potter played extremely well in his playoff run, and his technique and athleticism helped him finish in the top 5. Potter does a great job of resetting after making stops on the ball, able to get back into his stance and take on more shot attempts. There wasn't a save Potter didn't look prepared for he makes it look effortless with his quick hands and strong step to the ball. Potter displayed great rebound control and was a commanding presence in between the pipes. Athleticism and textbook play should have Potter on coaches radars soon.

5th - Joseph Connolly, 2023, Goalie, 91 Tristate select, Hendrick Hudson HS

Connolly was playing like a brick wall in the playoff bracket, and was making eye grabbing saves on some tough pro shooters. Connolly plays with a lot of patience and he seems calm and collected in net.  He makes sure to present his stick and stance in a way that takes away a lot of net for shooters. Connolly does a great job of making stops, and getting back into his stance looking for rebounds and follow ups. He displays high lacrosse IQ when hitting outlets and breaking midfielders to start fast breaks. Connolly looks to be ready to step up and become a leader on the defensive end.
